This is a right-to-left motion blur banner rotator. It is xml driven and it supports an unlimited number of banner images.
Its main purpose is to be used embeded in html, images must have the same size and aspect ratio, and clicking on a banner will trigger a getURL command with the url and target parameters specified in the xml file.

Setting it up should be easy:
* Make your banner images at the same size and aspect ratio, you can also use interactive swf files instead of images
* Resize the rectangular placeholder, located on the stage, to the dimmensions of your images
* Publish the new swf file and embed it in your html page, making sure that the width and height of you flash object are the same as the banners' sizes
* Edit the xml file with the paths to the banners; specify the delay between slides, by altering the "time" attribute (the values is in seconds)
* You can either leave the default name for the xml file (data.xml) or specify a new one via flashvars:
* Test your html file

Importing the component into another project it's not so difficult. All you have to do is to copy the Library folder, "OXYLUS Banner Rotator", into your projects Library. Also make sure you include the subfolders "oxylus" and "caurina" into the root of your project's directory, so that the scripts can be accessible. Drag the "OXYLUS Banner Rotator/Banner Rotator" symbol from the Library onto your stage and use the script inside the first frame of our source file to get it working.

Key features include:

- No XML, only pictures folder and texts folder
- Add as many pictures/slides with info text as you want
- No need to get into Flash
- Slide preloader included
- Picures are 160x120

File include:

- FLA and SWF
- pictures folder, pictures must be called 0.jpg, 1.jpg etc for the left picture and 0b.jpg, 1b.jpg etc for the right one.
- Texts folder, text files must be called 0.txt, 1.txt etc for the corresponding pictures.
- An extra text file within the texts folder called "total.txt", where the total number of items/slides is defined. This must be updated with Notepad if changing number of slides.
- Help file

For example:

The current file contains 10 slides, with a total number of 20 pictures. I f you wanted to make it 15 slides, with a total number of 30 pictures:

- Update the pictures folder with your pictures, making sure to respect the naming protocol (0.jpg up to 14.jpg for the left pictures, and 0b.jpg up to 14b.jpg for the right pictures)
- Update the texts file with you texts, making sure they are called 0.txt up to 14.txt.
- Update the "total.txt" text file. As there are 10 slides currently, the "total.txt" file looks like this (content=10), you must then change it to (content=15). Easily done in Notepad...

menu the menu if optional ... true/false
rand true/false the appereance will be random or in order
spacing the spacing bettwen buttons on menu section
speed speed for the banner rotation
picturePosition the position of the picture on the banner
time time bettwen banner rotation if the buton is not press
butonSize buton size in menu section
color1 first color of the background gradient
color2 second color of the background gradient
bcolor the background color for inactive buttons
bactivecolor the background color for the active buton
pictureLeft you can set where you whant the picture to appear ... left=true ....right=false

and other variables ... as text format for the numbers on the menu buttons ... and the text format and link on the banner is given on the XML file ... you can have more then one text on the banner ... smart image loader !
