Each RSS reader applet includes a configuration XML file to control various display aspects of the readers without editing the Flash source code.
The external XML configuration file allows control of URL target and the delay between animation refreshes, among other parameters.
Easily change the RSS Feed URL by setting a parameter in the HTML code. Please note that this URL must be set in two locations in the HTML code. Only RSS 2.0 compliant XML feeds can be used.
100% of the Flash 2004 Professional source code is included.
A DTD file is provided to validate the syntax of your XML configuration file (using, for example, XMLSpy).

These RSS readers, although written in Flash, are easily configured using an external configuration XML file. The configuration file is editable using any good text editor, like Textpad (http://www.textpad.com). Change properties like font style, color, and font quickly, without requiring recompilation of the Flash SWF file.
All of these Flash RSS readers include a DTD file to help validate your XML syntax, using software like XMLSpy.
100% of the Flash 2004 Professional source code is included, including all .fla files, all .as (Actionscript) files, and even the original .psd design file, although that file is not actually used by the applet.
The RSS URL can be set in the index.html file. Please note that RSS feeds MUST be 2.0 compliant feeds, and you must set this URL in two locations in the index.html file for it to be correctly passed to the SWF.
