The main interface for this MP3 player and MP3 component features a "dual control" system whereby volume, pan, repeat, and shuffle can be controlled by mouse click either in the control bar or the main viewing panel.

The applet version (remember: BOTH the applet version and component versions are included!) features an XML configuration file, which is loaded at run-time. The XML file can be edited using any good text editor, like Textpad or Editplus.

100% of the Flash source code is included! That includes ALL .fla and .as files, and all component files like .mxp and .swc files.

The Flash MP3 component is installed into the Flash extension manager, simply by double-clicking the .mxp file. Please note that the component version requires the Flash IDE, and is intended for Flash developers only.

The Flash MP3 component is configured through the component properties window after dragging the component to the Flash stage. The applet version only is configured via XML.

The skins in this MP3 component are based on Winamp skins. Click here for a complete view of the 11 skins that come with this component.

All MP3 files are loaded externally, and not embedded within Flash, to help keep the core .swf file small and fast.

100% of the Flash source code is included with your purchase, including all of the source code for all skins: the FLA, AS, MXP, MXI, and SWC files. Editing the Flash sources requires Flash 8 Professional or higher.

Installation of this component is as simple as double-clicking on an MXP file, which adds the component to the Adobe Extension Manager. The component will be found in the "tufat.com" component section under "mp3player".

After adding the component to the Flash stage, a variety of parameters can be configured for the component, including default volume, marquee text, shuffle and repeat default state, etc.

The cinema video player interface provides the ability to view closed captioned (CC) text at specific intervals of the movie. The interface also includes a draggable playhead, volume control, and optional JPG logo.

Videos are buffered during load, to provide a smooth, steaming playback. Buffering text is configurable in the XML configuration options.

The XML configuration file can be specified dynamically by passing it as a parameter to the Flash movie. Default file is config.xml.

Over two dozen configuration options exist in the XML configuration file, which can be edited using any good text editor, like Textpad (www.textpad.com).

All Flash 8 Pro source code, including .fla and .as (ActionScript) files, are included with the purchased version of this software.

Resize the applet without distorting the video controls. This permits resizable video displays while preserving the ability to control the playhead and volume.

Over two dozen XML configuration options can be set using an external XML configuration file. Only a simple text editor, like Textpad, is needed to edit the XML. Change settings like logo path, click URL, brightness, position of controls, transparency, color, and many more!

FLV video and non-progressive JPG logo are loaded externally from files. The paths to these files are set in the XML configuration. 100% of the Flash 2004 Professional source code is included, as well as a .dtd file to help validate your XML syntax.

Change the XML configuration filename by editing the HTML file that loads the applet, as shown here. Please note that this edit must be done in two separate places. By doing this, you can have multiple instances of the applet on a single HTML page, by giving each XML file a different name.

Many features, like default volume and default pan, are controlled using an external XML configuration file (config.xml). Editing the XML file is as simple as editing any text file, and can be done with any good text editor, like Textpad (www.textpad.com).

You can dynamically specify the skin to use in the HTML file by simply changing the "player_skin" reference. The XML file name can also be changed by changing the "xml" reference.
