During the past couple of years I have spent countless hours developing this site (the Internet Juggling Database). In this time I have learnt a lot about PHP, HTML, Java, mySQL and whole host of other technologies. Some of the code behind this site is good and some is bad. I have decided to share my learning experience by publishing some of the code and techniques I have learnt and developed. Although I hasten to add, I will only be sharing the good bits!

TotalIndex v2.0 is an open source script that is designed to replace the simple, and boring default index page of a site which lists the files in an indexed folder. This script produces a stylish and organized view of the files and folders in an indexed directory. Any folder on your site (including subfolders) can easily be indexed simply by copying a single file to the highest level folder. This script comes with many icons for different file types as well as the ability to easily let the admin add custom icons and file type extensions to the system. TotalIndex comes with many preconfigured style themes to choose from. The script can be installed anywhere on your server and DOESN'T require the use of a database

Every level of the navigation can have it's own style definitions.
The placeholders __LINK__, __URL__, __TARGET__, __CAPTION__ and __CAPTION_URLENCODE__ can be used.
Navigation elements can look different based on the currently active page. The current active page can be 'self', 'sibling', 'parent' or 'child' of the element.
PHP code can be used in link definition styles for maximum flexibility that gets executed on run-time.

This PHP / Mysql program allows users to your website to create their own custom Google Maps. It is very simple to use, all it requires is a Mysql database and a Google Maps Api Key. Users can add their location to the database simply by clicking on the map. You can create an unlimited amount of different maps.

Ever wish you could just open up a program and have it generate an index of all links on your site? You need this program, you need the search engines to have this precious file called a sitemap.xml. It’s so important you have this file that all search engines check it when they crawl your site.
