A CAPTCHA (an initialism for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart", trademarked by Carnegie Mellon University) is a type of challenge-response test used in computing to determine whether or not the user is human. Sitelok is a PHP and MySQL session based script that allows you to password protect and control access to html or PHP pages within your web site. You can separate your site into multiple members only areas and each user can be a member of one or more areas. Depending on your requirements new users can be added to Sitelok either manually via the Sitelok control panel, automatically from a PHP script using the Sitelok API or via a registration form that allows a user to add themselves. Avoid hot linking to prevent saving the images when menu mouse button is clicked by the user over the image on the browser, prevent retrieving the with a Web mirroring utility program, display the images typing the URL directly in the browser

Save password_protect.php somewhere on your server
Update it with your desired password or login/password pair. Use any plain text editor to accomplish this step. Sample editors: Notepad (Windows) or vi (Unix).
Open script in your browser with "help" parameter to see the line of code to add to every page you would like to be password protected.

The name of this project tells everything by itself ! It's a little captcha generator which creates human-readable check codes which will keep you away from spammers and flooders. It requires GD library, Session handling and some files linked at the bottom of this page.

A small but usefull spam/flood form submit protection that uses CAPTCHA. This class can produce a image with a random string and a form input. When the form is submitted, the string from the form input can be matched against generated string in the image. When they match, the submition can proceed. The random generated image string will be matched against a session var or against a file on the server disk, depanding on the backend you've choosed. Default backend is the session backend.

It?s out. Version 1.7 is exactly like 1.6 with the exception of the fact that the coloring on the viewing of ip?s is actually better looking and now more readable, also when you click the ip it does a ip loookup on it, which can be very useful. But the biggest part of this whole release is that now the config can be changed from the admin panel instead of manully which has always been a real hassle to me. But please enjoy this new realease and excuse the fact that it was read to be distrubuted three nights ago, but i?ve been so busy with some other sites, i actually had to post pone the release, because i like to have all documentation pages and everything in functioning order.
