RiSearch PHP is effective and fully-functional search script for small and medium sites. It is fast enough to search 5000-10000 of pages in less then one second. RiSearch is indexing search engine, which means that it index your site first and creates a database with all words from your pages for faster search. Risearch is full-text search script and index all words of a document except small words and common words (this can be defined configuration file).

simple script that allows you to search a SWISH-E index using the SWISH-E 1.X.X Binary and PHP3. OK, granted, it offers vastly more complex searches than something like Altavista; however, I still consider it fairly simple in terms of real searching power.

This class searches text based on a query string with phrase highlighting. The search is done on full words or phrases where HTML and punctuation are ignored. Includes all features you expect when search.
