Add new categories and images quickly and easily by editing the XML configuration file. Any good text editor, like Textpad (www.textpad.com) can be used for this purpose. You may also use so-called bbcode, like [b], [i], and [u], to add bold, italic, and underline effects to your text.

All gallery sounds are stored in external MP3 files, so they can be easily changed without having to edit the Flash source at all.

Over a dozen options are included in the XML configuration file. Not all options in this file are supported by this gallery, but quite a few are.

100% of the Flash 2004 Pro. source code (.fla files and .as files) are included upon purchase. If you can't something with the XML configuration file, then you can certainly do it by directly editing the Flash source, assuming knowledge of Flash programming.

All images are external JPGs, which are loaded into the gallery at run-time. Please note that these must be non-progresive JPG images.

Infinitely many categories, and infinitely many images per category, are possible. Scrollbars are automatically added in the event that there are more categories and/or images for the viewable area.

A long time ago, when I knew little about PHP and was in the process of learning it, I wanted a gallery for the photographs I had uploaded on my site. However, I linked to my photographs on several sites and didn't want to have to move them in order to make a gallery. So I searched for a gallery that would let me keep my photos in their directory and I found nothing. So, why not trying making my own?

just copy your photos in a folder on your server, and drop the index.php into the folder and you will be presented with a gallery. (You can even create subfolders as separate albums)

This is probably the easiest image cropper and gallery maker you'll find. Crop images and have the script create your gallery page based on your template all in less than a minute. PHP-based Instant Image Gallery Script This script is a tool for posting customizable, template based galleries, by simply uploading images to the server the script is running on. The script scans the directory you point it to (via a query string), and then it stores the list of images it retrieves in an array that is POSTED from page to page as the user moves through the gallery. Max's Slideshow is a simple PHP based photo slideshow script using Javascript as well. The installation is very easy, you only need to upload it to your web server. Afterwards put your images into the images folder, set the slideshow size if required and it's ready. No special requirement, only PHP is needed and Javascript on the client side. The script uses CSS so changing the style is very simple.
