The project's purpose is to create a lightweight, developer friendly and elegant PHP framework. The project is currently under heavy development. Nothing stable is yet available.

PHPDevShell (PHP Development Shell) is a PHP written application using MySQL, PHP and Apache that works as a shell for integrating custom PHP scripts.
PHPDevShell is intended for PHP developers who wants to rapidly write a stand alone application while not wasting time on the looks, menus, user management, security and many other tasks.
PHPDevShell is especially useful if you would like to write a secure web based admin section.
This application consists of :

When you really need to do some serious automation and scheduling, you may find yourself feeling somewhat limited by cron, or DTS (a.k.a. Integration Services in Microsoft SQL Server 2005) [particularly this latter if you don't use Microsoft products], or other customized applications. You won't be limited by the Calico framework.

Programmers licensing Backbone are free to complete their PHP applications with the assistance of the following APIs, which are utilized heavily during normal operation of Backbone itself. These classes and methods are debugged and likely to undergo future improvement to optimize efficiency and/or add features as requested by licensees.

Note: It is possible to use Backbone APIs in your PHP code without employing Backbone’s scheduling capabilities. In this case, a Backbone license must still be obtained and installed for the APIs to function.
