Uses CSS to control most visual aspects of the scroller, for easy customization.
Supports an optional "subject" for each message, displayed at the top of the ticker.
Cross browser functional/friendly- Script works in IE5+ and NS6+, and degrades well with the rest (all messages are simultaneously made viewable for the later).

Similar to our own DHTML scroller creation (Pausing up-down scroller), Mike's DHTML scroller features smooth pausing between messages, configurable scroll speed, color, and font. Oh yes, and the script's cross browser functional too...

website more attractive. The javascript code includes a verticle scroller, two horizontal marquee's,
and two manual scrollers. The verticle scroller can be made to pause after each item or rotate
in a continuous motion. The verticle and manual scrollers can accept images and hyperlink content.
All javascripts work in IE, Mozilla, Firefox and Netscape browsers.

This JavaScript code can be used to convert tables in ordinary HTML into scrollable ones. No additional coding is necessary. All you need to do is put header rows (if you need them) in THEAD section, table body rows in TBODY section, footer rows (if you need them) in TFOOT section and give your table an ID field, include the webtoolkit.scrollabletable.js file and call ScrollableTable.init() after each table.
