HTML code is very simple and without tables. It used unnumbered list for menu items and hidden layers near own parent items.
Parent items and hidden layers have unique identifiers. Also these have event handlers onmouseover and onmouseout:

Multi-level effect menu is a very configurable javascript/css hybrid dropdown menu. It is capable of producing simple menus(both horizontal and vertical) or more advanced ones like the below. It should work in any standards compliant browser and IE.This menu has a number of fixes for different browsers to provide a consitent cross-browser script, and in many browser will still run when javascript is disabled.

This is a vertical (drop to the right) version of Anylink CSS Menu that can be used on arbitrary links or vertical menus to instantly add a drop down menu to them. Each drop down menu is implemented as plain HTML (a DIV containing links) on the page, making the menu contents search engine friendly and easy to define.
Be sure to also check out AnyLink Vertical Menu, which differs from AnyLink CSS Vertical Menu mainly in that the menu contents are specified inside the script. If your site is dynamic, this may be an easier script to deploy across the entire site.

This is a stylish collapsible menu modelled after the navigational menu found on Slashdot. Session-only cookies are used to remember the menu state (whether it's expanded or not). Cool!
New: You can now add a expand/ contract all links to the menu, to allow your visitors to easily toggle the visibility of all submenus. Furthermore, you can specify if all submenus should be contracted by default when the menu first loads (see top of "menu.js").

There are many of context menu examples on the internet. This javascript context menu is very lightweight, OOP based and item-specific. You can setup it in a few seconds.
