Create a new flash document, choose Modify > Document and set Frame rate to 35fps (Frames per second).

Some Flash knowledge is recommended, however is not mandatory since the tutorials are written in an easy step by step manner in order to insure that even those not familiar with the Flash application user interface do understand and are able to implement our examples and later to develop their owns. We also do recommend you two other readings related to the topic focusing on text effects and star effects.

Create a new Flash Documet, choose File > Import > Import to Stage (Ctrl+R), and Import any picture. Frame rate set to 35 Fps (Frames per Second).

The effects are everywhere. You can see it on flash header, intro, flash animation, flash menu....everywhere. Exactly that's the reason why I would teach you how to create special and advanced sunlight effect using Action Script.

Select the object or picture that you have just created or imported, and press F8 on the keyborad (Convert to Symbol), to convert it into a Movie Clip. Look at the picture below!
