Access Panda is a CGI script written in Perl 5.0 under FreeBSD, though it should run on most modern operating systems. Its output has been formatted to look nicest in Netscape Navigator, though it should display correctly in any web browser. It is tuned for a web server that serves hundreds of domains, but it should work just as well on a web server which serves only one

Follow is a session-based logfile analysis tool; with it, you can improve your site by tracking how people use it. Take a look at a sample output and have a look at the Readme to see how.

Currently, Follow uses Perl 5 or greater, and has only been tested on Unix (although users have reported that it works well with Windows). It expects input in Common Logfile Format (combined with Access and Referer stats, if you wish) and outputs to plain text or HTML.

Follow is free for individual use; please contact me if you wish to use Follow or its code for commercial use (i.e, reselling, incorporating it into a product or service). See the license for more details.

After Traffic Source is installed, you set up trackers via the Traffic Source Control Panel. These trackers will track who is referring traffic to pages of your web site. Traffic Source provides you with HTML code for each tracker which you place inside your web pages. When this is done Traffic Source will keep track of who is sending you traffic. You can then at any time log into the Control Panel to view web site statistics of who sent traffic with accompanying graph. You can also view the exact URLs of domains that sent traffic your way.

Count+Stat provides the power of a high priced statistics program. Guess what? This is that program, without the cost. This solid running perl script tells you important user information such as IP numbers, refers, clients, and time.
With Count+Stat you can see where your users are coming from, and thus you can tell what they like, and overall who they are. If you get all kinds of people from a certain website, you can visit it and see exactly where your users come from!

By default, none of the settings should need changing. The default settings will work on 80% of hosts so likely all you will need to do is upload and CHMOD the files. However, the settings are there so you can change them if needed
