A1-Stats allows you to monitor how many people are visiting your site and where they come from. It is easy to install and configure using the auto-configure function. It should not be necessary to make any changes to the code. A1-Stats does not use system log files, so it should be able to run on any system. Full support is provided by means of the bulletin board, or questions can be sent to a1stats@gadnet.com.
A1-Stats is freeware. One, and only one feature has been deactivated in the free version. Although you can delete the statistics for any given file, you cannot delete the historical data for all files.

The log-reader.cgi program is designed to operate as a Perl/CGI program. It reads the Apache access_log file in standard ECLF format, interprets the records in this file, and returns (a) the most popular URL's on your web site and (b) the top TCP/IP addresses of clients who visited your web site.
