rlogger.pl sends a log message to a remote host

Use this script to analyse sendmail logfiles created by the syslog daemon. It was tested with SuSE Linux 8.2. The generated report is available in HTML and ASCII format. It looks like this:

A web server status checking script written in Perl, called using a simple ![]()
tag embedded within a web page. It can be setup to check multiple/individual web pages, web servers or domains. If the script finds the web server is serving http requests it will display a 'live' image otherwise it will display a 'dead' image. Click on the link below to download it. Backup-Lite is a pair of Perl Scripts and configuration files designed to allow you to backup any directory, file or number of directories on a server to another server at a remote location. The Backup generation script (bumake) runs on the server to be backed up. The file collection software (buget) runs on the remote server which will collect the backup sets. After each backup the software will send an email to the email addresses specified in the script to notify you it has completed. The email contains a summary of all files in the archive as well as directory/path information, archive size, date and time.
