8736BOT's are only recognized as unknown browsershttp://www.atout.beThere is a *big* problem with the statistical data returned by zorbstats; BOT's (robots) are never recognized as bots - not even on the www.atout.be statistics pages! They are all shown as UNknown browsers. Which will show a question mark beside their entry. Also, the entry in the /config/config.php file to retrieve the browscap.csv from: http://www.garykeith.com is incorrect. The only way to retrieve this file from that site is by way of a download link: http://garykeith.garykeith.net/browsers/stream.asp?BrowsCapCSV This link requires that you download it with your browser first. then you can load it in zorbstats manually from the downloaded file. Will Zorbstats ever be able to recognize bots? Sincerely, FrustratedCGI and Perl > Scripts and Programs > Security SystemsOct 11, 2006

The emp.pl script prevents this by checking whether an e-mail collecting robot accesses your web site. If this is the case the script hides your e-mail address. If the script is configured to run in bellingerent mode it also prints out a list of 10,000 invalid e-mail addresses, thereby rendering the database pretty much useless.
Spam - junk email - has become a major problem for people using the internet. There are two ways to fight it:
You can install a program wich filters your mailbox and tries to sort out unwanted mail.
You can try to keep your address secret. Public web pages are a major source of email addresses, and spammers use so called "harvesters" to collect them.
