This mod servers two benefits. The first is that it logs the IP address of the shopper and places it on the invoice. The second benefit is that it also adds the referring address to the invoice. The referring address is the location where customer was just before entering your website. This is a great way to see how the customer located your site when making a purchase. It's also good to compare advertising revenue and locations to your final sales.
