Allow your users to upload a single picture and have it entered into a rotator for other users to see. Also asks user for some basic regional info (not required). Administration area alows you to check each submission over before allowing it to be added to the rotation or deleted.

The newest release version is 0.9.0 and it have the capability to allow visitors to upload pictures. Of course, the administrator can decide which folders to allow upload.
The program is currently implemented in PERL with XML format data and config files. It does not need database or anything. Just the most basic web server with CGI support should run it!

The POD-l script is a [P]icture [o]f the [D]ay script. POD will display a random thumbnail image on a given page. The image changes every day from a pool of images in a directory of your choosing. However, the difference from the regular POD script is that a thumbnail image is displayed which is linked to a full-size image.
Image pulls logged - logging can be disabled. Errors also logged (also optional).
Fully configurable.
Admin script to configure and administrate your POD-l setup.
Template driven (user and admin). Default templates included. Customizable via POD-l Admin.
