Shot in the dark is a free downloadable web based game made to combat the surge in the ever popular hangman game. It is a straightforward number guessing game. The program selects a number between one and twenty at random. You have three chances to guess the number and the program tells you if the selected number is higher or lower than your guess. It's simple to install and quite configurable, and that's about it.

This is a presentation of the perl/tk based game I call "Kugel", you can call it whatever your heart desires. The game is played by moving objects on the board and putting them into rows, columns, diagonals. Each time you create a line of the same objects ("kugels", balls...), the score will increment with the number of objects you accomplished to line up. In the same time, the lined up "kugels" will disappear, so you can continue the game with more maneuver space on the board. Any time you fail to create a line of "kugels", new ones will appear on the board. Once the board is full, the game is over

In this program, we use a single "deck" of cards. On each game, the deck is created, then "shuffled" so that the cards are in a random order. The player's cards are dealt from the deck, and the rest of the deck is saved to deal other cards from.
