A Directory Walker that adds the "Last Modified" Date to the bottom of each page

THE MISSION: You'd like to add the date and time a page was last modified to every html page on your site so that surfers will know when your page was last updated. Here are 3 possible solutions:

My neighbour has ADSL connection, and he shared it with me. In my machine I only have a network card, so I can only use Internet when his machine is on and connected to the net. With this script I can check if his machine is on the net or not. It is pinging a host, and when it gets a positive response it'll play a song with Winamp, so I can know immediately that it's "net-time" :))
The code is very very simple, but it does what it needs to, and I find it very useful for myself

We have created this Perl script to assist web masters in updated large numbers of files quickly. If you have thousands of files that all need a small change like, for example, you want to change the copyright date, then this script is for you! You can update pages extremely fast, and the script will recurse into all your subdirectories too.

Even with today's scripting technology, sometimes you still need to find and replace lines of text in every file on your server. Well now you can! Using Quick Fix, you will be able to find and replace a string of text in every file on your server with one click. Similar to search and replace functions you use in text editors, except you can apply changes to multiple files simultaneously, in multiple directories on your web site server.
