We finally done our new website for distribution of all our Delphi-related stuff ? AppControls.com (as its main product, AppControls pack).
At the same time we anouncing two big component libraries ? AppControls pack (?Advanced Application Controls?) and Disk Controls, both result of four year experience in win32 software design and component development.
The AppControls pack contains 27+ components which increases abilities of the win32 applications and Delphi forms (see components overview) and Disk Controls, set of 13+ components which can make your life much easier if you developing software that works with disks (Hard / Floppy / CD / RAM / Network), shell and file system (see components overview). Well, we spent the money on the fireplace so we figured we should use it. After checking around I managed to find and purchase a bunch of wood. welcome to EZMBGEN - the Easy Message Board Generator. i picked Message Board v4.0 from CGI Factory as the basis of EZMBGEN because of its simplicity and power.
after you install this script at your site, you offer your guests the ability to create their own message boards and control the look by selecting these options:
an external image may be used as a logo
the font (face and size) is selectable
there are many color schemes to choose from
it is possible to require that subject, name and/or email be entered in order for a message to post.
HTML entry may be turned on or off
the auto-reply feature may be turned on (ie. the poster can choose to be notified when someone posts a reply to the poster's message)
it is possible to limit the number of replies to a thread so it doesn't become unwieldy
it is possible to set the number of messages per page in the index (the board will automatically create pages as required)
it is possible to set the maximum number of threads in the board (the script will continually monitor this limit and delete oldest threads as new ones are added
