5857WebSite Content Extensible Editor (WCX Editor)http://www.dopscripts.com/website_content_editor.htmls a simple web content management system built with XSLT stylesheets. It is a tool for the person who creates and edits the website content (what a web site that is about something is about). It is not a web developer tool for website content (collection for everything) editing.
WCX Editor provides a solution that allows non-technical people to manage entire web site organizing web pages into menu items, inserting images, building lists, and adding links and text. It is forms-based, writers cut and paste the content and press the publish link when the web page is ready. The updated page appears instantly and looks the same way as the web site visitors will see it.
Like all website content management systems (CMS) it can not be installed without a web developer with "right knowledge". The package is freely distributed as a collection of abstract classes, universal purpose utilities, template samples and documentation. Unlike many website CMS, it is essentially one user system. Two users can not edit web site simultaneously. WCX Editor does not use a relational database. WCX Editor is based on XML Technology and inherits extensibility from XML language. It requires that CGI XSLT processor be installedCGI and Perl > Scripts and Programs > Content ManagementOct 10, 2006G. Varzugin
This script once setup and run will read all directory names below your main image content directory and fully catelog all images in sub sections named for the directories the images reside in. It will create the menu the users see, it will create thumbnails of all images, it will create html pages for all thumbnails in quantities per page that YOU specify.

SillySite v1.2 is a simple web page design program. There are a limited number of built-in graphics and colors so that a person can quickly create a simple web page in a variety of "looks." When the user gets their page the way they like it, they can click a button and the program will email them the HTML page. Could be a fun way to introduce students (and new Internet users) to web page making and HTML, but it certainly won't put web designers out of business! :-)
