CountLink is a script that will update a log file for tracking the number of hits for any link on your website. The website owner need only place a link to the script with a link contained in the link in the following manner:
This will activate the script and it will do the following:
1. Add a count for the link "linkaddress.htm" in the log file.
2. Re-orders the log file list from most to least clicks.
3. Auto-forwards the user to http://linkaddress.htm.
4. The interface is seamless, the user isn't prompted for anything.
5. The link can be to anywhere and a single log file is kept to track all downloads.
SpyLink is a program written in Perl, giving you the ability to track any link on your site. It shows number of clicks on a given URL and the last click date and visitor IP. It uses its own database and log files. For Unix/Linux servers.
