Leif M. Wright's Scripts
5508 Leif M. Wright's Scripts http://leifwright.com/scripts Leif M. Wright Scripts has been on the Web in one form or another since 1995. You may recognize me by the site's former name, which was "Scripts By Tammie's Husband."
My scripts are literally all over the Web, from hobbyist sites to the sites of major software companies. Major rock bands, movie stars, soft drink companies, computer hardware companies, software companies, televangelists, midwives, sports personalities and others use my scripts every day on their sites.
I'm excited to be such a big part of the Web -- it's what I started doing this for in the first place. When I stopped counting, my scripts had been downloaded more than 10 million times. I constantly get reports from people who have either used my scripts, learned to script themselves by looking at my scripts and the comments I put in them -- or both.
Today, just as the original vision in 1995, my scripts are 100 percent free to download and use. I do not sell advertising for this site -- it is completely subsidized by Leif M. Wright Communications with the goal of continuing to put back into the programming community so that new programmers can benefit and grow.
At one point, I offered upwards of 30 scripts on this site, but the changing nature of the Internet and the ever growing skills of hackers (I use that word in a good sense, not in the media-denigrating sense) led me to take some scripts offline for security fixes. Because my scripts are FREE, those fixes fall fairly low on my priority list. As the fixes are made, the scripts will be returned to the site.
Please enjoy what you find here, and if you use my scripts, click the contact link and let me know so I can continue getting warm and fuzzy feelings.

PerlBlog is a dynamic and versatile blogging script written entirely in Perl, offering opportunities in customizing from beginners to developpers alike. Best of all, it's free and really easy to set up.

Blogs are the fastest growing method of posting data on the Internet today. It is hard to hear a news story of any significance that does not reference a blog in one fashion or another. csBlog is a powerful blog (web log/journal) management tool. csBlog allows you to quickly and easily manage entries into your website with ease. Use the script to create ongoing news items or journal entries.

Using only a web browser you can update your web long, adding story after story, journal entry after journal entry. You can even upload a photo in the web log entry to help get the story across, or to show a picture of the author.

BLOG script makes use of Blosxom, a free Perl script which reads text files and displays them as weblogs. The shortcoming of Blosxom is that there is no intrinsic way to post new blogs to a web server via a browser. That's where this Blog Poster script comes in. It intelligently 'guesses' where to save the blog and keeps tracks of edits. Delete posts, move posts, edit posts and redate posts from any browser. When edits are made, blogs are renamed, not deleted so you can view the history of your edits any time.
