4240 Category: Membership, profile and roles http://www.aspcode.net/articles/ASP.NET2.0/Membership_-profile-and-roles/category_51.aspx Cause I think we have all been on various VS2005 presentations where the presenter has dragged some CreateUserWizard, LostPassword control etc onto the form and with no code at all created a rolebased access system for a site. I have been on such demos for the last 10 years, and never gets that impressed anymore. I know that in reality it's never that easy, something needs to be tweaked for it to fit the requirements of your customer - and tweaking a framework model (compiled classes) is seldom easy, compared to changing pure code.
