This a very easy and elegant way to see whether your friends are online or not on Yahoo Messenger. It relies on AJAX calls using jQuery to get the status from the Yahoo servers. The actual checking is done via PHP. Everything is very easy to use and FAST. Not to mention is completely FREE.
