Some weeks ago, I was planning to build up a polling site where anyone other than admin should be able to post his/her polls to run on along with the simple voting on currently displaying polls. The task was simple but due to some reasons I couldn’t found any free php/mysql script to perform it. Most scripts were only considering admin to submit the polls and visitors were there for general voting only. Some commercial scripts were having this facility but I was in search of a freeware. So I decided to develop one on my own. At the end I came up with a solution which was based on minimum files to do all this in a quite decent manner. So here I am explaining the whole script so anyone who is looking for same kind of solution may be able to get some help from it. One can download a free copy of script at the end of the tutorial.
