This function takes a URL and returns a plain-text version of the page. It uses cURL to retrieve the page and a combination of regular expressions to strip all unwanted whitespace. There were a lot of good suggestions but I liked Hive the best, don't bother complaining because it isn't changing. I also resumed development today, the theme system is about 50% finished after working on it for just a few hours, it's a lot easier the second time. I also have made a new logo, I am somewhat pleased with the results. The new design for the site and theme is going to be kinda Web 2.0.
