This whois script will do alot of things. It will acts an an ordinary whois script, returning whois information natively on about 200 different extensions with the ability to easily add more. It will also act as a whois script for registrars who plan to pass available domains into a billing system for a customer to order. These two modes contain a multitude of features: price table, automatic alternative domain searches, ability to pass the full domain and/or extension (tld) to another script, backup nameservers, domain search logging, multiple extension (tld) searches as one time, query limit bypass, custom keyword and query formats for each nameserver, enable/disable nameservers and/or extensions, custom currency support, and much more. All of the configuration can be edited from within control panel. Fully template driven, allowing for one to easily edit almost every element of the display to fit any website.

3. Max's Whois
Max's Whois is a semi professional domain whois script which allows you to check domain availability before registration. The script supports the most important tlds like .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .name, ... A list of almost 100 tlds are included as well. Installation and setup is very simple. You only need to upload the files to your webserver and set the relevant tlds. The script is written in PHP using object oriented design. The frontend uses CSS so changing the style is very simple as well.

5. Matt's Whois
Matt's Whois is a professional domain name whois query script written to allow visitors to a website to quickly and reliably check the status of almost any top level domain. Many websites are already using this script for their whois lookups, why don't you?
This script also contains a fully configurable and customizable template system where by the script can seemlessly integrate into the existing website, bundle this with the ability to query about 270 different top level domains and the quality of a commercial product shows exactly why Matt's Whois is being used by more web sites every single day!
There have been quite a few changes to Matt's Whois recently involving a few movements within the template system meaning that any existing templates will require a bit of a "juggle" (e-mail me for help on this!), so other templates that can be used are available for download just below, simply extract them into a sub-directory in the same directory as the main script (either mwhois.cgi or mwhois.php). There is an administration script included for (hopefully) easy configuration of the various sections. Both versions of the script come bundles and configured with the default english templates.
