ImageThumb is a PHP script which allows you to resize any image so that you can place the resulting thumbnail on a page. The script was created to avoid the manual creation of thumbnails, which on some sites with lots of images may take a lot of time.
Unlike most ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) converters, this one comes with a database of almost 400 characters. You might be asking yourself "wait a minute, ASCII only contains 128 characters" - you're completely right, the additional 300 characters are not ASCII, but in Version 1.0 only ASCII characters were supported, that's why it's called IMG2ASCII, and not IMG2UNICODE, or whatever. Some Browsers might not display all characters in the Database, but there is an option only to use the standard ANSI charset (256 Characters).
12CropImage handles the upload and cropping of images. The script is meant as a plugin to other scripts or forms. It takes care of the more difficult part of uploading an image and cropping that image to the right size. The result of the script is a hidden input field with a url to the newly created image. This url can be used in any way you would like.
