20938GBook - PHP Guestbookhttp://www.phpjunkyard.com/php-guestbook-script.phpGBook doesn't require a MySQL database to run. You can set it up to process smileys, it can send you an e-mail notification when someone signs your guestbook and you can delete inappropriate messages. Visitors can even post private guest book messages which only you can read! This guestbook comes with a bad words filter which replaces all bad words with **** in new posts and a secuirty switch which prevents floading (submiting the same message multiple times in your guest book)!PHP > Scripts and Programs > GuestbooksOct 14, 2006Klemen Stirn
Some products are quite simple, some are rather old and lack some programming experience, some of them are not as finished as they could be and with some I'm pretty satisfied in their current state. But all of them were at least either fun to write for learning or playing around or really, really useful to me and others. I hope you might benefit from them, too.
Let me start off with the bad news: I am not a programmer, or a webdesigner.
This project exists because I needed a good, easy, flexible and secure guestbook. These might seem reasonable expectations for something as "simple" as a guestbook.
Unfortunatly I could not find such a guestbook, so I decided to adapt one that came close to my demands.
As such, this guestbook is a fork of another guestbook project, namely vlbook.
YaBook is a simple but powerful guestbook running on PHP 5. It features easy installation and customization, multi-language support, an administration interface, and email notifications on new postings. YaBook's design uses a template system so it can be easy integrated into your page.
