phpWebFTP offers a way of connecting to you FTP server, even when you are behind a firewall or proxy not allowing traffic to FTP servers. phpFe is a PHP based directory and file explorer. Along with just displaying directory contents on the server it's operating on in a very customizable look it also has some additional features, such as sorting and searching. The listing can be configured to just display a single folder and its contents or to act as a complete server explorer. phpFe can also be extended by the optional addon phpFe_admin, which allows logged on (password protection) users to perform operations such as renaming, uploading, deleting and moving files and folders on the server in addition to browsing it.
