As you probably know 2checkout.com provides an easy to setup service for receiving payments for your products worldwide. One problem faced by many developers however is how to provide a secure way to deliver digital goods after a successful transaction. The Linklok system provides a very secure solution and is custom written for use with 2checkout.com.
After a succesful purchase 2checkout.com can transfer control to the Linklok script on your server making use of their MD5 based secret word. Linklok will then display the download link(s) for your products and also email them to the purchaser. These links do not show the true location of the file on your server so there is no way to bypass Linklok. Links can be set to expire between 1 minute and several years later if required (or never expire).
