Though not lacking in features, see here, it has a relatively small footprint

Springboard is a spring cleaned TextfileBB. TextfileBB is a forum system that needs no SQL databases - it uses text files to store all it's data. TextfileBB has been discontinued with lots of bugs still existing. All these bugs have been fixed with Springboard and has been given a fresh new face.
