Since I have started development of Datalib once again, we have decided on a slightly different approach. This has resulted in much faster query times for MySQL (a tad faster than ADODB) and marked improvements in PostgreSQL queries (20% faster than ADODB). We have much work to do yet, but development is moving along nicely. We will start making preview/alpha release available here very shortly.
Along with this, Datalib is expected to retain the original feature set (minus deletes and updates), in addition to more feature. We have currently started implementing query binds and cross-database limits.
We will also start making the Subversion repository available for browsing and public consumption! Look here for more updates in the following days! PHP > Scripts and Programs > Database Tools Oct 13, 2006
