Simple Script Security (SSS) v0.85beta
14032 Simple Script Security (SSS) v0.85beta http://projannet.port5.com/ SSS is cryptographical package, which includes all the functions for encrypting and encoding web documents on client side and save as ordinary HTML files on WWW server. Decrypting is done also in client side, so no secret information is delivered over network, or stored on server. Current version implements a symmetric cipher, secure hash algorithm and routines for easily use them in your own applications, or strongly encrypt your web pages.
Because use of JavaScript SSS offers good platform independent solution for delivering encrypted messages over the net. Encrypted data can be decrypted by any web browser with JavaScript enabled.

The beauty of AntiSpambotMailto (besides the fact that it's FREE) is that the email address parameter is not just the usual collection of ASCII codes, which I imagine would be relatively easy for a spambot to recognize. Each encoded character is also offset by the total length of the email address. While it is possible that the spambot programmers could eventually write a parser for this, the offset hopefully adds just enough extra complexity so it is more likely they will die a horrible death before they have the chance to finish their evil deeds. And of course a minor modification is all it takes to screw them up again. For a spambot to be foolproof, they would have to write a complete JavaScript parser, which seems unlikely (I hope).

How to test: To use this conversation tool, you must first have agreed upon a code phrase with your co-chatters.
Type the code phrase in the form below and the software will check if there's an ongoing chat corresponding to that code. If it is, it will let you log into the chat room, using the same phrase. If the code phrase does not exist, it will let you start a new chat room that will respond to that code. You must then wait until some of your co-chatters logs on.
The chat room will last for an hour after the last person posts to it, then it will be deleted. Or, if you use the log out function, the last person who logs out will delete the chat file.
The encryption used is 3DES, or Triple DES, and the encryption is performed by the users of the chat, using the code phrase as key.
NOTE: This host is not a chat host. This is an example for test only, so please download the scripts and implement it on your own server for regular use. Thank you

C hoose a key sentence, which must be the identical for encryption and decryption for a certain piece of text. Paste in the text in the big window. If you want it to be formatted with bold, italics and underscored passages, please mark all passages according to the remarks first, before encryption. Choose a text block size. Smaller numbers will result in a less secure, but faster accomplished result. Click "code" and wait until the work is done. Copy the result from the big window to a document
