BBC Webgallery is a script that will help you to create an online photo album without any manually work at all. Just upload your pictures and the album is updated immediately. Thumbnails are created automaticlly and are not saved on your server. This is saving you for work and space. To use this, the best thing is to have the AspImage component installed on your webserver. AspImage is used to create the thumbnails. If AspImage is not installed, then thumbnails are created, using width and height on the IMG tag, but this is slowing down the script! New things in this version: - CSS file to make your own design easily - Automatic control with subfolders - Texts are put into constants to make translation more easy - Script is validating strict HTML 4 - Script has been testet in IE, Firefox and Opera

Place the file in the directory that contains your images. By default the scripts looks for images ending in -01.jpg and displays those as thumbnails (e.g. Family-01.jpg). When you click on the image it looks for the file it will display the full size image (e.g. Family.jpg). Why the -01.jpg you ask? Because it is easy to batch process a directory full of images in ImageReady or Photoshop to make thumbnails. Batch processing scripts are included in the download, so if you have ImageReady you are set.

I have just complete version 2 of the Simple one page gallery script. The script is only one page and very portable, just set 8 variables and the script will automatically read all the images in a designated folder. Simple one page gallery is also able to create thumbnails on the fly by utilising the popular ASPJPEG com object. Simple one page gallery is also able to paginate the images and display however many images per page. Another feature is that the script can display a larger version of the thumbnails.

I had developed this software for my own pictures but after lending it to some friends to use, they were so impressed that they suggested i should sell it.... So here it is, offered to the public as donationware.
