The width and position of the DIV are calculated from the object you point. This can be any object with an ID parameter. Than the function getSubMenu looks for a simular array value, drops it into the DIV and makes it visible. It's realy easy ;) It should work on MSIE >= 5 and Mozilla >= 1.3 or better.JavaScript > Scripts and Programs > Navigation > MenusOct 12, 2006Daantje.nl
This is a great script for expanding links on your page with a 2nd level. The menu intelligently re-positions itself depending on how close it is to the edge of the browser window, so it's always in full view.
This script works in IE4+, NS4, and NS6+/Opera7+. You can specify a valid default URL for each link for other browsers to navigate to.
The fee to register the menu license is $29 which allows you to create menus for as many web sites as you wish. This is a "try it before you buy it" product. First of all, please download and try it. You have to register to get your registration code that turns the trial version into a fully-functional version. Free version adds "About menu" sub menu item at the bottom of the each submenu block. You will find enough information about registration in the download package.
This is an alternate version of our AnyLink Drop Down Menu that works with vertical links instead. The menu is positioned to the right of the link, and works with most types of links, whether it's a regular text link, image link, or even a table cell or list (
) that happens to contain a link. Furthermore, this script detects the four corners of the browser window and readjusts the menu so it's always in view.
The script works in all the major DHTML browsers- IE4+, NS6+, and Opera7+. You can specify a valid default URL for each link for other browsers to navigate to. Cool!
Demo: Below shows using AnyLink Vertical Menu on a regular text link and
This is a mouseover tabs menu. Move the mouse over designated links, and additional "sub links" appear beneath it. Think of it as an inline two level menu.
We intentionally made this script with a minimum amount of styling, so you can personalize its look yourself. As an example, the main links could be substituted with "tab" images instead.
