Menu system (vertical or horizontal) that allows for "click to expand/collapse" submenu selections. Script requires only a simple table contained within DIV element - NO other HTML code changes required. Setup controls are contained in one easy to use setup file containing detailed instructions. Options include: transparency level, Handler type (mouseover or click), single branch expansion option, and expanse/collapse icon placement settings. Multiple samples and documentation is provided for guidance. Menu look is set with CSS

When you have Windows XP SP2 installed and are testing the menu local on your computer with Internet Explorer the Internet Explorer PopUp blocker might be activated and block the menu. This does not happen on the internet or intranet.
This has nothing to do with PopUps but is caused by a default setting of Internet Explorer that disables scripting on local files. The menu is not a PopUp.
To change this setting in Internet Explorer choose Tools -> Internet options and the tab Advanced.
Under security enable "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer"

4. HV Menu v5.5
We named this script "HV menu" for its ability to be laid out both horizontally (as a top menu) and vertically (as a side menu), but it might as well be for its highly versatile nature. The menu's impressive list of features makes it one of the best scripts of its kind today:
