Step Carousel Viewer displays images or even rich HTML by side scrolling them left or right. Users can step to any specific content on demand, or browse the gallery sequentially by stepping through x number of contents each time. A smooth sliding animation is used to transition between steps. And fear not in taming this script to go exactly where you want it to- two public methods, two custom event handlers, and three "status" variables are here for that purpose.
As the name loosely implies, Book Flip is an image slideshow that simulates a page being turned to reveal two new slides at once. Some other impressive features of this slideshow are:
Slideshow can be set to either flip horizontally or vertically.
Each image can have an optional link associated with it.
Slideshow pauses on mouseover.
A DOM based script that works in modern DHTML browsers- IE5+, NS6+, Opera 7+.
Version II of the original, slimmer Drop-in slideshow, this one hyperlinks each image, so you can associate a unique URL with each slide. A classic effect that works in both IE4+ and NS6+, with a regular hyperlinked slideshow appearing for other browsers.
There is a version 2 of this slideshow which contains many more options. However, it also takes up much more code.
In Netscape for some crazy reason it will try to force all your slides into the same size as the first one. This is a known netscape bug and there is no way around it. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera do not have this problem
Got a lot of images to display but not a lot of time? Most image slideshows display only one image at a time, making it very cumbersome for your visitors to go through them in cases where there's a long list of images to show. Well, this image slideshow supports "multiple frames", so you can display more than one image at once. Specify exactly the # of frames, and whether to horizontally or vertically position the slideshow. This script works in IE5+, NS6+, and Opera 7+, although best in the former two due to their support for opacity.
