This script shows how to add images to the background of a textarea that will change on mouseover. An additional feature changes the text color on mouseover, as well.
Image rollovers (sometimes also called Image MouseOvers or mouse-overs) are a fairly common sight in websites today (although I don't use them at this time on either thesitewizard.com or thefreecountry.com). You've probably seen them around too: when you move your mouse cursor over a button on a particular site, the button appears to be depressed. Move your mouse cursor away, and the button pops out again
This script allows you to resize one or more images on a page by clicking and dragging on the image(s). A single left-click will also reset the image to a default size. Any number of images may be used.
The standard JavaScript 'image rollover' - an image that changes appearance as you move the mouse over it. They don't serve any very practical purpose (beyond slowing page-loading and wasting bandwidth) but - with more inspired graphics than on this page - they can add a certain style to a page.
When you rollover the small images the big image changes.
When you roll off, all the big image returns to the original.
The Code is below!
If you don't want the picture to return to the original when moving
the mouse off the little picture remove the "onmouseout" portion.
Here's an example!
