Could Solitaire be for some the last standing obstacle till we all switch to web-based applications for good? Long has the game of Solitaire been the barometer of when an OS is desktop ready. Requirements

It requires a modern web browser. For best results we actually recommend IE5+ or Opera 7+. It works fine on Firefox and Netscape 7+ other than an annoying quirk when dragging cards causes the page to be selected (I could not find a workaround for this quirk).

This is a simple cross browser snake game you can add to your site. Select a speed then use your arrow keys to attempt to eat the apple (red block), but watch out for the walls. At any time you can pause the game by pressing the space bar.

Example:

To play the game, click on the button to the left. The counter will start. Click on the button again to stop the counter. To win, you have to stop the counter between "98-100" (including extremes). The number you clicked on will be displayed on the right. Simple!
