This application demonstrates the use of Sessions, state, and database calls to create a simple tic-tac-toe game. There are no ActiveX components in use on either the client or the server. The table involved is quite simple, and was created with the following SQL statement:
The Magic-8 Ball page is no more. We have been approached by Mattel's lawyers who are claiming that we are damaging their brand name by having this game up here. The brand name belongs to Mattel and they are defending their corner quite aggressively. This this end, the page has been taken down, though I am still leaving the source code available; in case anyone wants to learn of the inner workings of the magic, magic page.
I really wanted to make a game as an example so here it is. Keno is a game found in most casinos. Playing is simple: choose 10 numbers by clicking on them below (requires javascript compatible browser and cookies enabled). The computer will then select 20 numbers. If you get 5 or more matches, you win an amount proportional to the number of matches... but since this is an example, win or lose, you get nothing but source code.
