Used for creating database driven web applications because it provides great server side scripting support

Earley's syntactic parser algorithm you can decide if a word can be generated by a given grammar.
I made a longer description of the algorithm that can be read here: jerly.pdf. Attention! If it looks ugly on screen, then try to magnify it or simply print it (only 6 pages).
Remark: Jerly is a standalone console application (on Hotscripts it is registered under "JSP and Servlets" because the registration form didn't allow me to put it under "Java Applications". Eh, whatever...).
Standalone version is the easiest way to publish your GIS data to Internet. There is no special system or programming experience required to setup your Web GIS. No dedicated server side is needed. If you have ArcView shapefiles or MapInfo MIF files, view them with through ALOV Map. Download ALOV Map and start your own Web Mapping! Please refer to Quick Start for details.
Each time applet starts, it will download all the map files from the WWW server side to the client side. You should limit the size of your map data in order that a downloading's time won't be too long. To reduce it you may compress your data with zip.
