One of our clients wanted to preview commercials on the Internet, so ISSI created the Active Sever Component, dgFileUpload.
With Active Server Pages, you use the Request Object to upload information sent in a request from a browser to a server. Unfortunately, using Request.Form you can only upload text.
dgFileUpload allows you to upload a binary file to your server. And a binary file means not just text, but pictures, gifs, movies, MP-3 sound, and even commercials can be displayed. This also means there is no need to fool around with FTP.
So think of dgFileUpload as a "Improved Version" of Request.Form.

Centricorp's ASP Uploader is a useful script for website developers and web masters. When installed correctly on your Microsoft IIS web server, the three ASP (Active Server Page) files will allow your users the ability to upload files to the web server. No components to install! Follow the directions provided in the ReadMe.txt to copy the files to your web server and you will be uploading files in no time.
