Ez upload is a product that does this effortlessly. With pre-generated code that can be pasted into the user's page directly, it is just a matter of editing a configuration file to give the path for the file to be uploaded. First of all I just want to say that I've managed to fix both the forum and Beaverblogg.com now so they should both work fine. It took quite some work though, especially since I had to spend about 10 hours of development on the forum to get a working version online again with the security maintained. I set out a few weeks ago to rebuild the security parts of it to handle user groups and a few other pieces and it went quite out of my hands. Now when the code I was using online was deleted I had no other option then to complete my half done work to get it back online as soon as possible.

Anyway, in that progress I stumbled upon a few bugs reported by various people had reported on my upload class that I hadn't been able to reproduce earlier. However, when I moved to my new server it started to happen everytime. Seeing that I felt that I really had to get down on this and fix it so now I've spent most of the evening rewriting the parsing routine to work in every case I can think of. I've tested this on my local machine (XP SP2), my old server machine (Win2k Server) and my new server machine (Win2k3 Server) and it runs smooth on all of them. Seeing that it works so great (and fast, I only lost about 2% speed in my first tests but I might have got those percent back later when optimizing ) I decided to put out a new release immediately so now you can grab CrazyBeavers Upload Class 1.2 from the products page

MSCUpload is an Active Server File Upload component. It extentds standard Request object capabilities in handling uploaded data. MSCUpload is a perfect way for ASP applications to handle multiple uploaded files and still make another form fields easily accessable.
