Xedit for Java supports all the traditional editing commands of XEDIT, as well as some enhancements such as "cut-and-paste" and "undo" features and the full Unicode character set. Because the XEDIT editing is line-oriented, Xedit for Java also treats documents as an array of lines and provides the block-edit commands, handles cursor movements, and extends the XEDIT editing with some modern editing features, such as full undoing/redoing, clipboard pasting, unicode support, dialog boxes for searching/replacing, and more.

1. Arithmetic
This applet helps school going children learn and practice basic arithmetic operations like Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. LCM and HCF can also be practiced. At the end of the practice session (which lasts as long as you wish), you can see the score i.e. the number of problems correctly solved as well as the number of problems the child could not solve. Unless the child gets a problem right, the applet does not advance to another problem.
It is a great tool for teaching arithmetic.
