10997processing applet for displaying GIF and JPEG imageshttp://members.shaw.ca/jonespm2/software.htmTouchup is an image processing applet for displaying GIF and JPEG images on a web page. It's a powerful, interactive replacement for the HTML tag. By clicking on the first button that appears when mousing over an image, visitors can easily adjust images to their computer and viewing conditions. For example, increasing the gamma in one image will make all images in a gallery appear brighter. JavaScript can be used to keep these settings across an entire web site, and even for each visit through the use of cookies. Click on the magnifying glass to zoom in on an image, click on "i" to view EXIF and IPTC picture details. Note: all images on this page are non-working screen snapshots. jsView is an image display applet -- but unlike most such tools,
it is controlled almost entirely from a JavaScript function, rather
than through the usual host of HTML parameters.
This gives designers considerable flexibility, as you'll see in the
demos provided. Each image, as well as its link and target,
are set directly from the jsView applet's jsviewDo() function
Your pictures just do not look right on other people's web browsers? This Java applet allows you to adjust at real-time. It serves as an online digital image album. Main features include dragging, zooming, brightening, sharpening, contrasting, tinting, saturating, and resetting control on photos. Search methods include pull-down list, sequential browsing, and keyword entry.
The iPanner applet is an extremely simple-to-use image panner.
Other than Notice and KeyCode parameters, just give it an image,
and it runs... a great pro tool of course,
but also a fine choice for Java newcomers!
This new scrolling viewer displays a much larger image in a smaller window. With the use of the arrow keys or the mouse the image can be scrolled vertically and horizontally enabling selective viewing or a sense of mystery within any image. Ideal for walk through type displays and catalogue viewing.
