4. .htaccess Secure Site Membership System Version 3.0

When a user applies for membership and submits the application via the sign up screen, their data is written as a PID file to a temp data directory on the server. A e-mail is then sent back to them at the e-mail address they entered. This e-mail contains a link to that PID file and instructions for the user to click or enter that link in their web browser URL/Address bar. Unless this is done the data will not be sent on to admin. If the application is not confirmed an auto scrub routine will remove it from the data directory at a pre-set time. If confirmed, this will validate that they have applied with a valid e-mail and the data is then extracted and written into a e-mail and sent on to the site admin.

6. BOT's are only recognized as unknown browsers

There is a *big* problem with the statistical data returned by zorbstats; BOT's (robots) are never recognized as bots - not even on the www.atout.be statistics pages! They are all shown as UNknown browsers. Which will show a question mark beside their entry. Also, the entry in the /config/config.php file to retrieve the browscap.csv from: http://www.garykeith.com is incorrect. The only way to retrieve this file from that site is by way of a download link: http://garykeith.garykeith.net/browsers/stream.asp?BrowsCapCSV This link requires that you download it with your browser first. then you can load it in zorbstats manually from the downloaded file. Will Zorbstats ever be able to recognize bots? Sincerely, Frustrated
