Peekaboo is a simple but very useful directory unmasker for people who require "secret access" to a visual link enabled listing of a particular directory on their server. It also serves as an excellent method of accessing your cgi-bin directory from the web, especially if it's 403 Forbidden. Handy if you are a programmer whois fedup with browsing their ftp and entering script or file locations manually in your browser! Also useful for general purposes because if you rename the script to "index.cgi" for general access most servers will recognise this as the common placeholder and open it automatically. There are currently two versions of this script available "Standard" and "Pro". The Standard version is reccomended for general use and convenience purposes with a basic template set, whilst the Pro version is better suited for more security minded individuals as it features password protection and optional ip logging of all successful logins. Pro users also have the ability to choose the popup target location, easily edit the template style to make it more easily read based on their own custom requirements and/or to simply make it look far more attractive. The good news is that both versions of this script are distributed freely under the terms of the GNU General Public License and the code may be modified at will, providing all credits to the author and links to this page are left entirely intact and that modified versions are NOT sold.

Site membership security program using the UNIX servers .htaccess, the most secure way of having security on your site. This program is very powerful and must be used with caution. In admin you can just type in the name of a directory that you would like to set .htaccess on and the program creates it on your server inside your html or htdocs directory, or whatever is your html root directory and places a .htaccess and .htpasswd file in it.
A user when making an application to your site is sent a confirmation e-mail to validate they are using a valid e-mail. Upon confirmation the application is written to program DB and a notice is sent to site owner or admin with a link to admin login. There in admin control, a application can be denied on which they are auto sent a denial letter. If approved they are added to active users DB and given access to the protected directory you choose to give them access to, and sent a approval notice containing a link to the directory set.

You have a list of software/documents which you want to sell. Part of it is free, but part is commercial. With this script you can easily create personalized customers section, where customers will be have access only to free and purchased software/documents. This script also has an integrated reg. numbers system (which can be disabled at your discretion).
The script is very versatile and can be set-up so that ONLY the admin can create new accounts or you could empower your users with this function. In this case the script will validate a user email (send him validation string), and after this create a new account with "DEFAULT" files (which are free on your site). This function, as with all others can easily be enabled or disabled via the robust configuration panel.

Securitron is a password protection system which allows you to provide security to files in a directory that you want to keep secret. This is not a replacement for using .htaccess. .htaccess is still best because it provides server level protection. But this producti will help out those that do not know how to set .htaccess and/or wants more control over access.

The Delorie Password Manager is for users who have to manage a web password file, but do not have easy access to password encryptors or CGI directories. By using the Handler directive of Apache 1.1, one central CGI installed by the system administrator can handle all the password needs of the users.

An easily configurable script that will check a predesignated password (unencrypted) and send the surfer to your content page or to another page that you specify for entering the wrong password. This is an AVS-type password system. Since the password isn't encrypted a somewhat skilled hack could get around this, but this will keep most surfers out. However, this doesn't stop the surfer from bookmarking your content page (once they figure out what that URL is), but you can use Bouncer with either my CGI Detect/Redirect or the freeware Javascript Redirect below to prevent unauthorized bookmarking.
