The Indexed GEDCOM Method is simple to operate and to use. When a new or updated GEDCOM is to be made available, the program IGMMak is run. This program creates an index file as well as several HTML index files. This process takes about 1-2 minutes to index a 7,000+ person GEDCOM file, although this may vary based upon the system you are using.

Once the GEDCOM is indexed by IGMMak, users can access the automatically generated HTML index files to find the person they are interested in. When they request information on any person in the database, the HTML index instructs the Web Server to run the IGMGet program. IGMGet opens the GEDCOM and goes directly to the person directed. It then loads all of the information for that person and his/her family, generates an HTML file, and sends it back to the user.

The HTML files allow the user to search the database either by a range of names, or by an every surname index. The user can also search names and places with the IGMSrch program or the ENTIRE GEDCOM for any text with the program IGMFind.

An added feature is the ability for users to submit 'links' to other databases on the web for any individual. This is accomplished by the program IGMLink.

All of the scripts, IGMMak, IGMGet, IGMFind, IGMSrch, IGMLink, IGMPed, IGMDesc, IGMGed, IGMLib, and IGMIni are written in the Perl programming language and can be modified, provided that the original copyright information is not removed or modified.

send you via email list of expired domains. It run daily via cron after drop time of OpenSRS domains database and collect expired domains.
Yahoo is very big directory, which receive lots of traffic every day. Every domain listed in this directory can
receive from 10 hits up to 10.000 hits daily. Also all listed in yahoo directory domains is allways visiting by search
engine spiders (as google, altavista, etc) and have good ranking in search engine results.

A few years ago I looked all over the Internet to find helpful resources for the Church. When I found them I began to compile them together in the form of a Bible Search Engine called "The Bible Toolbox". Unfortunately, as I was writting it I could not find any other code written for Internet Bible research that was made freely available. I don't think this is a good thing because the more that is available for public use and enhancement the better tools the Church can develop to reach our world. So I specifically designed this one as a free script so that other programmers can take it and develop it into better code and thus increase the number of resources available on the Internet.

Introduction Because I had to administer my INN server here for offline reading and smaller news services for my friends in university and myself I wrote some smaller scripts to allow easy adding/removing of groups. Because I don't want to get all of the groups but only the ones I read I had to get the active file of my providers ISP, so there's get_active.pl which uses Net::NNTP to get the list from your provider. Then there's a filter for rpost to strip of unwanted headers. Because my rpost is not compiled with the perl-filter feature it takes the file as an argument. More scripts to come
